- Chicken - 500 grams
- Coconut Oil - ¼ cup
- Cloves - 4
- Cinnamon - 1 stick
- Cardamom - 2
- Onion - 2 large sliced thinly
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
- Green mirchi - 3 slits
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves
FOR GRINDING
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Black Pepper - 1 tbsp
- Ginger - 2 inch
- Garlic - 10 pods
METHOD
- Take all ingredients in blender under FOR GRINDING.
- Heat the oil. Add cinnamon stick, cardamom and cloves.
- Add onions and cook till golden brown.
- Add chili powder and garam masala. Fru it.
- Add the grinded paste and cook it until the oil starts to seperate.
- Add the chicken and fry it.
- Add curry leaves, it leaves good flavor to curry. This is optional.
- Add mirchi to curry.
- Mix well and simmer till oil separates.
- Serve it with Roti or Rice.
