Homemade pizza sauce recipe is delicious, really quick and easy to make. It definitely tastes better than going with the jar versions.



Homemade Pizza Sauce. Quick and easy recipe that will be the perfect compliment to your homemade pizza!


Ingredients

  • Tomatoes - 2 big
  • Onion - 1
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic - 6 - 8 cloves
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Paprika - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Basil - 1/2 tsp 
  • Red Chili Flakes - 1 tsp 
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp 
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Slit the tomatoes on the top side which is easy to peel the skin. Boil the tomatoes and onion in water. 
  2. Allows it to cool down and peel the tomatoes skin.
  3. Take a blender, add boiled onion, peeled tomatoes and garlic pods. Grind it.
  4. Heat the sauce pan. Add oil.
  5. Once oil gets heat, add the grinded paste, paprika powder, basil, red chili flakes, Oregano.
  6. Paprika gives nice color to sauce.
  7. Allow it to boil, cook until the oil seperates
  8. Add tomato ketchup, salt and sugar.
  9. Allow it for one time boil. Switch off the flame.
  10. Sauce is ready to use.

Grind it
Add Oil

Add grinded paste

Add Oregano, paprika, basil, red chili flakes

Cook until oil seperates

Add tomato ketchup

Allow it to one time boil
Sauce ready to use for pizza
Mutton Vellai Kurma, I tasted and learnt this recipe after marriage from my husband's grandmother. She is an awesome cook. Mostly on sunday mornings they prefer this white kurma with hot Idly. In my early years of marriage, whenever my in-laws used to visit us this is the MUST recipe, but its cooked by grandma or my aunty. Its a very easy recipe and comes out very well every single time.



Ingredients

  • Minced meat mutton (Kheema) - 1/2 kg
  • Onion - 1
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coconut oil
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
White kurma masala
  • Coconut - 1 cup  grated
  • Green chilies - 8
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic - 10 pods
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  • Cloves - 4
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch
  • Bay leaf - 2
  • Cardamom - 2

Method

  1.  Grind all the ingredients under WHITE KURMA MASALA in blender.
  2. Add garam masala powder and keep aside.
  3.  Heat oil in pressure cooker. Add onions and fry for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the minced meat and saute for 2 mins.
  5. Add the WHITE KURMA MASALA and salt.
  6. Saute it and add water as you required.
  7. Close the lid and allow upto 5 whistles.
  8. Once the pressure released, open the lid.
  9. Taste check now and add the salt as required.
  10. Ready to serve.
Put all ingredients under WHITE KURMA MASALA in blender.

Add garam masala powder

Heat oil and add onions

Add kheema mutton

Saute it for 2 mins

Add masala paste
Saute it and add water as you required.

Open the cooker once pressure releases

Healthy breakfast is the great kick off to start the best day. I might skip lunch or dinner, but never skip the breakfast. I tell everyone the same. Omelette is a low carb, gluten free recipe with fresh ingredients.



Omelettes are so easy to make and only require a few ingredients, to turn out for great taste. This is  filling and gives you the energy you need to get going.


Ingredients

  • Large eggs - 2
  • Grated cheese - 1 tbsp
  • Basil - 1 tsp 
  • Vegetables as per your choice
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Pepper - 1tsp
  • Butter - 1/4 tsp

Method

  1. Cook the vegetables of your choice in water. Let it boil, drain it and keep aside. 
  2. Melt the butter in the frying pan. Beat the eggs with a fork and season with cooked vegetables, basil, salt and pepper.
  3. Add the mixture to the pan and spread it out evenly. When it starts to firm up, but still has a bit of raw on top, add grated cheese.
  4. Using a spatula, ease the edges and quickly turn it over onto the other side.
  5. The other side will cook a lot quicker, it only needs about 1-2 minutes.
  6. When it is done, place a large plate on top of the pan and flip the omelette as fast as you can. Serve with fresh fruits.
 
Take 2 eggs in bowl.


Beat the eggs.

Add cooked vegetables.

Add salt, basil, pepper.
