Most of the people says that they doesn't like dry fish. Dry fish always meant for the heavy fish lovers like me
😂. Its simple version of dry fish recipe. The tangy and spicy taste goes well with rasam or curd rice.

Ingredients
- Neimeen Dry fish - 1 medium sized
- Gingelly Oil - 2 tbsp
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Onion - 1
- Green mirchi - 4
- Curry Leaves - 1 string
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chili Powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
Method
- Soak dry fish in hot water for 20 - 30 mins. Wash it in hot water. Drain and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in pan. Add mustard seeds and it splutters.
- Add onion, garlic, curry leaves, green mirchi, dry fish and fry it until raw smell goes.
- Add turmeric powder, chili powder and coriander powder. Mix well and add 1/4 cup of water.
- Allow it to boil on medium flame. You can see that dry fish starts to dissolve.
- Taste check now, always dry fish contains salt. In the entire recipe you have to add salt, if required.
- Cook this until thicken. Ready to serve.
