Why we need Homemade Chocolate Syrup
Making your own chocolate syrup is a simple process of combining basic and available ingredients that most people have in their pantry. In general everyone use cocoa powder but everytime at my pantry I cant find cocoa powder instead my son drinks chocolate milk everyday, so nesquik is easiest option for me.Uses for Homemade Chocolate Syrup
- Dip – Sliced fruits, marshmallows, plain crackers, etc.
- Drizzle – Cakes, ice creams, pancakes and more.
- Drink – Chocolate milk, milkshakes, or even hot chocolate.
Ingredients
- Nesquik Chocolate Powder - 1 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- A pinch of salt
- Butter - 1/4 cup
- Vanilla - 1 tsp
Method
- Take a saucepan, sieve chocolate powder.
- Whisk together the chocolate powder and the water until all lumps are removed.
- Add the salt and bring to a boil over medium to medium-high heat.
- Once it starts to boil, add butter and whisk.
- Reduce to a simmer. stirring constantly. Simmer for about 30 seconds and then remove from heat.
- Let cool and then add vanilla essence which is optional. After it cools, pour into squeeze bottle and refrigerate until needed.
Sieve the chocolate powder |
Check the lumps |
Add water |
Add pinch of salt |
Whisk together |
Boil on medium flame |
On simmer mode, add Butter |
Cool down, Store and refrigerate. |
Ready to serve |

ReplyDeleteI prepared with 1 cup choco powder and my kid completes it within a month. Never it stays more than one month. 30 days.
