Reasons why we eat Idli regularly
- fermented food is best and highly nutritious
- easily digested even for new borns
- no fat no cholestrol
- best go-to food, doesn't get spoil
Ingredients
- Idly batter
- Water - 1.5 cups
Method
- Grease your Idly plate moulds with oil. Pour idly batter into moulds. DONT OVERDO.
- Add 1.5 cups of water to the Instant Pot. Turn on STEAM mode and wait for 2 mins, now water starts to Boil.
- Keep the idly stand inside.
- Close the lid and keep in VENTING position. STEAM mode doesn't have time set up so that set up alarm in phone for 6 mins. After 6 mins, hit CANCEL.
- After 2 mins, open the lid and check idlicooked by piercing tooth pick in it.
- Remove the idlis from moulds using spoon. Serve hot with chutneys or sambar.
