Andhra Style Mirapakaya bajji Recipe is an authentic snack from AP. This is our all time favourite snacks on rainy season. The long green chilies are deseeded and stuffed with a spicy chickpea mixture. A mixture of freshly cut onions and then added over the chilies and eaten as a tea time snack.
- 3/4 cup Besan (gram flour) - 3/4 cup
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Astofedia -1pinch
- Parsley - 1/4 tsp
- Add water to make thick batter
- Place besan (gram flour), red chili powder, salt and ajwain in a mixing bowl.
- Mix it well and make a thick batter with water and keep aside.
- Bhajji mirchi - 3
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Mashed potato - 1 cup Boiled
- Carom seeds (ajwain) - 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 teaspoon Chat masala
- Astofedia - 1 pinch
- Mix everything really well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Let it cool completely and keep aside.
Method
- Cut the mirchi and stuff the prepared mixture.
- Take the prepared batter.
- Dip stuffed mirchi into the batter.
- Deep fry at medium flame with enough oil until it becomes dark color.
- Transfer into plate and serve.
