Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 3
- Dried Red chili - 3
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Rice flour - 1/2 cup
- Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
- Rava - 1/2 cup
- Onion - 1
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Water - 3 cups
- Corriander / curry leaves
- Salt as taste
How to make dosa batter
- Grind tomatoes, red chili, ginger into smooth paste without adding water.
- Transfer to the mixing bowl.
- Add rava, rice flour and wheat flour.
- Add 2 cups of water and mix well into batter consistency.
- Add chopped onions, salt, cumin seeds, fennel seeds. Mix it.
- Allow it to set for 15 - 20 mins, rava absorbs water. After 20 mins, check the consistency and add 1 cup water.
Prepare dosa in hot tawa
- Spread the oil and pour batter on hot dosa pan.
- Lower the flame and cook it turns crispy and golden.
- Fold the dosa and serve with chutney or sambar.
