Oven Baked Fish Fry with no oil

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. fresh or frozen (thawed) white fish fillets
  • 2 tablespoons indian masala
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Combine eggs and milk in medium bowl.
  3. Combine indian masala, breadcrumbs and all-purpose flour in medium bowl. Dip fish fillets into egg mixture, coating both sides, then into flour mixture. Place in baking dish. 
  4. Bake for 20 minutes.




FOR OVEN-FRIED CHICKEN:
 1 chicken (2.5 - 3 lbs.), Prepare as above. Bake, brushing chicken once during baking with juices from pan, for 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink near bone.
